Hand Bearing Compass, Non-Magnetic Alloy
R168.00
The non-magnetic alloy hand bearing compass is a durable, handheld navigation tool used primarily for taking bearings of coastal landmarks (for position fixing) and checking collision risks with other vessels. It is operated by holding the compass near the eye, sighting an object through the prism, and reading the bearing on the stabilised card.
Overview
The Lalizas tubular radar reflector is an essential device for enhancing your boat’s visibility under challenging conditions. This unit reflects radar signals from nearby vessels, making your boat appear larger on their radar screens, thus improving safety in low visibility situations or areas with heavy maritime traffic.
Its noiseless and lightweight compact design offers almost no wind resistance and will not interfere with sails. Eyes on both sides allow the unit to be secured snugly to the shroud.
