Overview
The Location of Fire-Fighting Equipment – Red Arrow safety sign is used to indicate the direction of nearby fire-fighting equipment within a building or workplace. Directional arrow signs are designed to guide occupants along a route and do not replace primary equipment identification signs. They should be installed to accurately reflect the route to the equipment from the viewer’s position.
Typical Applications

- Guiding occupants along corridors and access routes where equipment is not directly visible
- Supporting fast response times in unfamiliar buildings and public environments
- Used as part of a coordinated fire-fighting signage system across a site or vessel
